# macOS app

> Run Replicas in a native macOS window.

The macOS app is a lightweight native window around Replicas, so it tracks web deployments without requiring a new download.

Open the DMG, drag **Replicas** into **Applications**, and launch it. Builds require macOS 12 or later.

Sign in as you do on the [web app](https://tryreplicas.com/dashboard). OAuth popups stay inside the app, while other external links open in your default browser.

Replicas checks for desktop updates automatically. When an update is ready, restart immediately or choose **Later** to install it the next time you open the app. Web app updates appear without a desktop update.
