Replicas retains workspace data so teams can review completed work, resume context, and inspect workspace history after a workspace sleeps. The primary retention control is Save chat and Canvas history. When enabled, Replicas stores workspace chat transcripts, Canvas files, and repository changes after sleep, so the Changes tab remains available while a workspace is sleeping or archived. When disabled, new workspace history is not persisted after sleep. Disabling workspace data retention is available on Team and Enterprise plans only. To turn retention off:
  1. Go to Organization → Settings → Preferences
  2. Find Workspace History, then Save chat and Canvas history
  3. Toggle the switch off
